Vidfest contest?

So London Expo is getting closer and i'm still totally busy with 2 props i'd like to finish for a certain cosplay.
More info on that some other time.
On a more TGGOB related note, we might try and participate in a contest held by vidfest on expo.
If you want to know more about vidfest just go check the London expo site:
http://www.londonexpo.com/
We're still working out the details but I hope to start filming too.
Also been looking into getting a flipcam.
I'm gonna keep this entry short cuz i'm feeling a bit sick o;
Laterz!

Home is where you hang the head of your enemy...

Since i'm a BIG Elder scrolls fan, lets talk about the latest dlc for skyrim:

Now I liked Dawnguard (yeah just liked, but its hard to surpass Oblivion's shivering isles) so I had more or less good hopes about Hearthfire.
And it does what they promised, give the player an option to build his own house from scratch.
You can keep you home small and cozy or go all out and make yourself a mansion fit for... a rich show off.

Different type of rooms can be added to your house like an alchemy room, an armory, a trophy room etc.
Though you can't cramp every room available into one house, since you can build 3 houses it doesn't really pose a problem.
You can also live in your house with any in-game spouse, a steward, a bard and adopted children if you equiped your house with a kids' bedroom.
Beginning to sound a bit like the Fable games.... ^^;
Anyho before you can enjoy a complete house there is work to be done.
Various materials have to be gathered in the wild or bought through shops or your steward.
Some of the materials have to be constructed or smithed into items like nails and locks.
This can be quite a task unless you already have a fat wallet of gold to buy most stuff.
Also the lack of any serious quest is dissapointing.
But all in all this dlc delivers what was promised.

Chilling in the hood

So my second post is going to be a "how I spend my day" kinda blog entry so none of you polly care ;D
Putting that aside, today I chilled at the hood with two friends and TGGOB crewmembers, the Doc & Porno Bart.
When I say 'the hood' I mean Antwerp city.
This place:
We refer to it as the hood as a joke though you can prolly get stabbed and robbed three times before your cold, dead body hits the ground if you take a few bad streets.
But back to us hanging out like villains!
Our morning was spend in Starbucks (without Mac laptops) getting our caffeine on and plotting evil and less evil plans.
After that a visit to the local gameshop, Gamemania to check out some games (no shit sherlock!).
Also bought some geeky shirts and whutnot because we can't have people think i'm a normalfag right.
Got a good deal at our favourite used games/movie store we call Giovanni named after the owner obv.
The shops' actual name is Gamebusters I think, none of us ever bothered to really check after dubbing it Giovanni's.
That makes it sound like a cheesy pizzeria but its more like a team rocket hideout.
Since all the walking dehydrated us we had a drink in the outpost and discussed many intelligent topics like Ron Jeremy's guest appearance in Ghostbusters and his role in a movie called 'invasion of the fishfuckers' (not a porno btw).
