The wild life in this game must have been based on Kujo, basically everything attacks you in a killer frenzy.
Even wading birds...

Darksiders & Risen

I got me a small pile of used games a few days ago and among those games was Darksiders.
Finished the game yesterday and it was pretty enjoyable so i'm going to look into obtaining Darksiders 2.
Some people warned me the puzzles were a bit too hard but I didn't experience any real problems.
A bit of good ol' trial and error took care of most obstacles =)
The battles were amusing and it had a nice range of enemies that did require some strategic fighting at parts.

Boss battles were well one although easy once you figured out the right course of action to damage the boss.
Story-wise its very entertaining and never getss dull.
If you get a chance do try this game out, if the puzzles get to you... the internet can help you.

I've now started playing Risen, haven't gotten far yet though so most of the story is still a mystery to me.
The graphics are very dated and the gameplay is a bitch but the voice acting is pretty good and it does seem to have a certain atmosphere to it.
I'm going to give it a chance.
